Just realized my blow dryer nozzle was the reason my curls kept falling flat

After three years of struggling with frizzy roots in this humid Oklahoma summer, I switched to a concentrator tip with smaller teeth and held it upside down at the scalp for 20 extra seconds per section, so has anyone else found that the nozzle shape matters more than the dryer wattage?
