A rigger in Houston laughed at my hand signals and I have been doing it wrong for 12 years
He watched me signal a slow boom down and asked why I was waving like I was flagging a cab, because from his angle my hand looked like a swing command. I switched to keeping my hands wider than my shoulders and holding each signal a full two count. Anybody else get called out on something basic they had done the same way for a decade?
