I finally tried a luffer attachment on a tricky hospital job in Austin last month

After 8 years of fighting with tower cranes on tight sites I borrowed a luffer for a 3 day lift and the control felt like cheating compared to the standard hammerhead setup, anyone else made that switch and felt the same?

Spent a decade on hammerheads before trying a luffer and felt like I'd been welding with oven mitts on the whole time... made me question all my life choices up to that point.

That bit about "welding with oven mitts on" hit home hard. It reminds me of how we just accept the hard way as normal until something better shows up and makes you wonder why you suffered so long. That kind of suddenly seeing a better way happens with tools, habits, even people in your life sometimes.
