Stopped a 50-ton load because some guy was standing in the blind spot waving at his buddy

He got all huffy when I asked him to move, but I'd rather take a 10-minute delay than explain to OSHA why I squashed someone on a Tuesday morning, so has anyone else dealt with site workers who think crane ops have eyes everywhere except the load radius?

Would you have rather dealt with a worker who didn't speak up and got hurt?

Did you used to think staying quiet was better too? I gotta admit, I was the same way until I saw someone get seriously hurt because they didn't say anything... totally changed how I see it now.
