Tried animating a hover card with transform only and it stuttered on a 2019 MacBook, so I flipped one property
I was sliding a testimonial card with left and top on hover and it chugged at like 20fps on my old laptop, so I moved it to translate3d and it went smooth instantly. Learned that the browser skips layout for transforms but recalculates it for left and top, has anyone else hit a case where translate still felt choppy and you had to add will-change?
