It took me 3 weeks to figure out why my grid gap kept collapsing on Safari
I built a photo gallery with CSS Grid for a friend's bakery site in Portland, and everything looked great in Chrome. Then I opened it in Safari on my iPad and the gaps between rows just vanished, like the grid-gap property wasn't there at all. I tried rewriting the shorthand, then row-gap and column-gap separately, and still nothing worked. Turns out I had a minmax() on my grid-template-rows that Safari was choking on, and switching to auto-fit with a fixed min width made the gaps show back up. Has anyone else run into Safari doing weird stuff with grid gaps, or is it just me?
