Spent $40 on a premium dropdown menu plugin and it broke my entire header

Bought a fancy dropdown menu plugin called MegaNav Pro for $40 thinking it'd save me time. Installed it on a client's site and the CSS grid collapsed everything into a single column of broken buttons. Spent 3 hours debugging just to find out the plugin doesn't play nice with flexbox at all. Anyone else had a paid CSS plugin turn into a total mess?

Oh man, I feel your pain... $40 for a digital headache is basically a rite of passage at this point. I bought a premium slider plugin once that turned my homepage into a blinking mess of broken images. Learned the hard way that plugins love to promise big but break the simplest stuff.

Wait, you dropped forty bucks on a slider plugin? I honestly didn't even know people still paid for those things. Every free option I've ever tried already does the same job but with like half the bloat. Man, that sucks though. Half the time these premium plugins are just repackaged garbage anyway, they all break the second you update anything.
