Thought inline styles were lazy garbage until I opened dev tools on my bank's site and found 41 of them on one div
I used to roll my eyes at anyone who slapped style directly on an element. Then last week I was trying to figure out why my bank's transfer button was half off the screen on my phone, and the inspector showed one div with 41 inline styles, including three font-size rules stacked on top of each other. The part that got me was the comment buried right in the middle: "do not touch, Kevin." Now I'm not saying inline styles are good, but seeing that made me admit the "never do this" rule has way more gray area than I thought. Anyone else ever find a mess so bad it actually made you respect the chaos a little?
