I was helping my buddy fix his bakery site in Sacramento over the weekend, and the order form looked like someone dropped it down the stairs. Text boxes were hanging off the page, the pay button sat half under the footer, and the total jumped left and right depending on how much stuff you picked. He was ready to pay a guy $400 to rebuild it, but I opened dev tools and saw every input had width 100% plus padding pushing it past the container. Added box-sizing border-box to one rule and the whole page just clicked into place. Has anyone else had a single line fix something that looked totally unfixable?
