Why does nobody talk about the IE6 float bug that ate my whole portfolio page
Honestly, back in 2009 I was building my first freelance site in a tiny apartment in Dayton and my sidebar kept dropping below the content no matter what I did. I called this older dev named Rick who ran the local user group, and he just laughed and said "add a width to your floats, that's the double margin bug." One line of CSS, seven hours of my weekend gone. Has anyone else had an old-timer solve a layout mess with one weird trick that nobody teaches anymore?
