Am I the only one who remembers when antivirus updates were a monthly thing?

Back then, a yearly subscription and occasional scans seemed enough. Now, with constant threats, we need real-time protection and frequent patches. Do you think modern security is too complex, or is it just the new normal?

The constant updates just feel like noise now.

Funny how the monthly update felt like an event. Now the constant pings just train us to click "update later" without thinking. Maybe that's the real security risk now.
