Just realized 90% of phishing emails share the same bad grammar pattern

I was going through my spam folder last week and noticed almost every fake email from 'Netflix' or 'PayPal' had a weird missing space before a comma or period. Has anyone else picked up on a specific tell like that to train non-tech family members with?

Is it possible spammers actually write with bad grammar on purpose to filter out the smarter targets?
