Overheard a guy at the coffee shop bragging he uses the same password for everything because 'who would target me?'
That mindset is exactly why my cousin in Boise had his bank account drained last year after a breach at a small online store he used once.

Yeah, I used to think that way too until my email got hacked from some random forum breach.

Exactly. That's the scary part, it's never the big sites. It's some old forum for a band you liked in 2008 that gets popped. They get your email and a password you've reused, and suddenly someone's trying to reset your bank login. A password manager is the only way to make unique ones for every single site without going insane.
