Password manager reset took me 4 days and I'm still not sure it was worth it
My master password got flagged after a breach alert, and switching everything over to a new manager was supposed to take an afternoon. But two-factor auth codes and export formats kept failing, especially the bank logins from like 2019. Is the extra security actually worth the hassle, or do most people just stick with the same one and update passwords?

Four days sounds about right when you're dealing with a bank that still thinks SMS codes are cutting edge. I switched once and spent most of that time arguing with an export file that had my 2017 passwords as HTML comments. The extra security is fine, but honestly most people just update the same manager and pray the breach wasn't that bad.
