PSA: I used to think a $50 antivirus was enough, but after my neighbor in Phoenix got his bank account drained last month, I now run a full security stack with a password manager, 2FA on everything, and weekly backups.

What specific extra layer, besides the usual stuff, do you think most people are still missing?

Honestly, a separate email just for password resets.

Wait, your neighbor in Phoenix got his whole bank account drained? That's terrifying. @grant.kevin has a great point about the separate email, but I'd say people forget about their router. If you never changed the default login from "admin" and "password," someone could just hop on your wifi and see everything. It's like leaving your front door wide open with a sign that says "come on in.
