Spent 3 weeks locked out of my own router because of one dumb mistake in the admin page
I changed my Wi-Fi password on a Friday and then spent 3 weeks typing in the wrong one because I capitalized a letter in my head that wasn't actually capitalized. What made it worse is I locked myself out of the admin page after 5 failed tries and the router needed a hard reset. I lost all my port forwarding settings and had to rebuild them from a photo I took 2 yrs ago. Eventually I found my mistake by looking at the password on the bottom of the router itself, not the sticky note on my desk. Has anyone else done a factory reset and lost everything over a single letter?
