The IT guy at my office in Dayton laughed at me for using a password manager, and I still think he's dead wrong
Honestly, this guy named Dave walked past my desk in Dayton last month, saw my password manager open, and said 'real security pros just memorize everything, that app is a crutch.' I tried to explain that reusing 12-character passwords across 30 sites is how breaches actually happen, but he just shrugged and told me to trust my memory. Tbh I'd rather have one strong master password than 30 weak ones I can't keep straight. Has anyone else run into this mindset where people think tools make you less secure?
