Spent $70 on a color checker for dark mode contrast and it saved my launch
I grabbed a cheap calibrator six months back because my dark theme on a client dashboard looked fine on my monitor but washed out on my phone. Turned out my grays were off by a ton and that $70 tool showed me where the text was failing contrast before anyone else saw it. How do you all check dark themes across screens without buying gear?
