Pro tip: printing on 80lb matte text beat 100lb gloss for my zine and cost $40 less
I did a 32 page zine run at a shop here in Kansas City and got quotes both ways. The gloss looked slick in the sample book but the matte text actually took my dark photos better, no glare under a lamp. 50 copies on matte ran me $110, the gloss quote was $150 for the same count. Anyone else skip the shiny stock on purpose?
