PSA: Found a cheap fix for uneven paper cuts on my guillotine trimmer

I was getting jagged edges on my flyers for weeks and it was driving me crazy. Turns out the blade was just a tiny bit loose from the clamp, like maybe a quarter turn on the screw. I tightened it up with a hex key I had laying around and now the cuts are smooth again. Has anyone else had this issue with their trimmer?

A quarter turn on a hex key fixed your jagged edges? Sounds like it was barely loose to begin with, maybe you were just pushing too hard through the cut.

I read somewhere that humidity can mess with the blade alignment on these things too, so maybe that was part of it (or just the screw like you said).
