Warning: The new art museum in Seattle has a huge print that's pixelated up close.
I was at the Seattle Art Museum last weekend and saw a massive 8-foot wide landscape print in the modern wing. When I got within 3 feet, the image resolution was clearly too low for the size, and all the detail turned into visible squares. Has anyone else run into this problem when scaling up digital art for large format printing?

I mean, it's like every billboard now too.

Ugh, tell me about it. My buddy Steve said he took his kids for ice cream and the whole shop had these giant posters of the guy on the walls. Even the little paper napkins had the logo stamped on them. The kids just kept pointing and asking "who's that man?" He said it totally killed the vibe.

Right? I drove down the highway yesterday and could not believe it. Every single ad space was just the same face staring back at me. It's getting so old, like give it a rest already.
