Tracked my hours for a small bathroom reno, the final number got me
I'm gutting a 5x8 powder room in my place near Portland and kept a simple spreadsheet of every hour, even the tiny trips to the hardware store. After 6 weekends of work, I hit 47 hours total and that felt insane for a room this small. The drywall and tile took way less time than I figured, but the plumbing tweaks and caulk patience ate up 11 hours on their own. Has anyone else kept a log and found a specific stage of the job always runs longer than you'd guess?
