Question about my file backup habit failing right before a deadline
Last Tuesday I was putting final tweaks on a poster for a local coffee shop in Denver and my external drive just stopped spinning mid-save. I had auto-backup on my laptop but the last sync was from 3 days ago because I kept closing the app to speed things up. Lost about 6 hours of layer work and had to redo the whole thing from flattened PNG screenshots. Has anyone else had a backup system quietly betray them like that, or do you have a more reliable way to handle version saves than I do?
