Hit 50 design revisions on one logo last month and it taught me a lesson

I finally finished a logo for a bakery and counted 50 back and forth revisions with the client. Most of those changes were small stuff like moving a leaf 3 pixels left. Made me realize I should set a revision limit upfront so I don't waste 20 hours on tiny tweaks again. Has anyone else had a project spiral like this?

3 pixels left" - I mean at that point just buy a ruler.

That brings back memories of a friend who did web design and had a client ask for the logo to be "a little more energetic." Three weeks later they were still sending back tiny tweaks. Never did figure out what energetic meant to that person.
