Wasted $60 on a "premium" font pack from an ad before I learned about Google Fonts

I bought this fancy font bundle thinking it would make my designs pop, but most of the letters looked weird on screen and I couldn't even use them in Canva. Has anyone else fallen for paid fonts that turned out to be garbage?

Bought a "vintage typewriter" font set once. Paid $40. Biggest waste. The 'g' and 'y' were almost identical on screen. Couldn't read half the words at small sizes. Switched to Google Fonts full time after that. There's a good typewriter style one on there called "Cutive Mono". Free. Clean. Actually works.

Forty bucks for a font that blurry is just painful, I feel your frustration.
