Shoutout to the barista who called out my poster kerning

I was putting up a flyer for my shop at a coffee place in Denver and the barista pointed out the space between my 'r' and 'n' looked like a different word. Never thought about how much a few pixels matter until you see someone squint at it from 3 feet away. Has anyone else had a stranger fix your layout work?

Gotta love how people are way more observant about your stuff than you are yourself. I once had a cashier at a bookstore point out that my entire flyer was 4 degrees off center and it was all I could see after that. That little voice in your head just starts screaming "how did I miss that?" for the rest of the day. Then you start noticing other people's bad spacing everywhere you go. It's like a curse you never knew you had until someone woke it up.

lol right @betty_shah you totally summed it up. once you see it you can't unsee it. it's like that thing where you learn a new word and suddenly it's everywhere. but now it's just crooked lines and bad kerning forever. i swear my eye twitches when i'm in a grocery store now because of all the misaligned shelf labels. honestly sometimes i wish people would just keep their observations to themselves because now i'm cursed too.
