Saw a packaging designer in Portland do a live client feedback session and it rewired my whole approach

I was visiting a friend at a studio in Portland last spring and this senior designer just pulled up a Figma file with the client on Zoom. She had them pick from 3 rough options right there in real time instead of sending polished mockups later. It cut their revision cycle from 6 rounds down to 2 on that project. Has anyone else tried showing clients unfinished work early like that?
