My old boss in Nashville used to say 'just pick a lane' when I was stuck on a plan

I spent 6 months trying to design the 'perfect' life plan and got nowhere. Finally tried his advice, picked one small goal to start with, and it actually got the ball rolling. Anyone else find that over-planning was their biggest block?

Yeah, that "perfect life plan" thing is a total trap. I've been there. You get so caught up in mapping every single step that you never actually take the first one. Your boss had it right. Action, even small and messy, gives you real information that no plan ever can. It breaks the spell of just thinking about doing something.

Exactly. Paralysis by analysis is real.
