Visiting the library in my hometown and seeing the 'quiet study' area full of people just scrolling on their phones
It made me wonder if we're designing our spaces for focus all wrong, and if maybe we should just accept that distraction is the new normal.

Our local library just added phone charging stations to the quiet floor. Maybe the point isn't to force focus, but to give people a calm place to recharge, phones and all.

Yeah, that's a solid point from @jackson.wesley. Sometimes you just need a quiet spot where your phone isn't dying on you.
