Tried using just one monitor and now I'm torn

I removed my second screen to try a single monitor desk. It makes my area look tidy, but I find it tough to have all my work open at once. Do you think one screen is enough or do you need two for your projects?

That tidy look is really nice, but I get the struggle. What kind of work are you doing where it gets tough? Like, are you trying to write a report while also having a spreadsheet open, or are you coding and need to see a browser window for testing? It seems like the answer totally depends on what you're actually doing all day.

Honestly, going back to one screen sounds like a nightmare to me. That tidy look is cool, but it kills my actual work flow. Trying to cram everything onto a single monitor means endless clicking and losing track of tabs. For my stuff, having a second screen lets me keep reference material open while I focus on the main task. It cuts down on so much wasted time and frustration. Giving that up just for a cleaner desk isn't a trade I'd ever make.
