That one perfect Thursday where my grid snapped into place like magic
I spent three days fighting with a responsive dashboard layout last week, moving frames and resizing over and over. Then on Thursday morning I just happened to try the auto layout with padding set to 24px on everything and it suddenly looked clean. Has anyone else had a design suddenly click after days of struggling for no obvious reason?

I read somewhere that a lot of design breakthroughs happen when you stop trying to force things and just let the tool do its job. Auto layout with consistent padding is one of those things that sounds too simple to fix complex problems but it usually works. For me the switch was realizing I was overcomplicating my spacing by trying to make each section unique instead of using the same padding everywhere. Once you hit that magic number like 24px the whole thing just breathes right.
