Thought auto-layout was overhyped until a 30 panel dashboard project proved me wrong

I always ignored auto-layout thinking it was just for buttons and simple cards. But when I had to build a dashboard with 30 resizing panels last month, it saved me about 5 hours of manual spacing fixes. Has anyone else had a moment like this where a Figma feature you brushed off suddenly clicked?

Literally same thing happened to me with a finance dashboard I was working on. Couldn't believe how much time it saved me from manually pushing pixels around lol.
