Spent 3 days chasing a phantom misfire on a 6.7 Powerstroke, turned out to be a chafed wire under the valve cover I missed twice.

Missed it twice under the valve cover. That's brutal. Those 6.7 harnesses are a nightmare to work around. Can't imagine the relief when you finally spotted it. Bet you won't forget to check that spot again.

Ugh, tell me about it. That relief was unreal, like finding a needle in a haystack after you've already kicked the haystack twice. My brain just refused to see it tucked up in there. You're right, I will absolutely be checking that exact spot first on every single one from now on. Never making that mistake again.
