That week we had three 6.7 Powerstrokes with the same weird injector knock
It was last month, and every single one had a bad #8 injector but perfect fuel pressure. We found a batch of bad connector o-rings from our usual supplier that were letting just enough air in to cause havoc. Has anyone else seen this specific failure pattern on the newer Fords?

The 6.7 Powerstroke uses unit injectors, not a common rail. You're right about the air intrusion problem though, those tiny o-rings can cause a knock that sounds just like a bad injector. It's a sneaky failure.

That batch of bad o-rings sounds like a real nightmare to track down!

Had a similar mess with some gaskets last year. Honestly riley58, we just had to go back and check every single install log. Took forever but found the pattern.
