Appreciation post: The coworking space that saved me $200 a month on coffee
I stumbled on this coworking spot in Chiang Mai last month called PunSpace, and I was surprised they have a policy where you can bring your own mug for free drip coffee all day. Most places charge extra for that or limit you to two cups. I did the math after my first week and realized I was spending around $5 a day on coffee at cafes before, which adds up to about $150 a month. Plus you get a desk, good WiFi, and a quiet room for $150 a month total. That means my coffee and workspace combined are under $200, which is less than what I was blowing on lattes alone. Has anyone else found a coworking spot that includes stuff like snacks or printer credits in the base price?

Finding a spot that includes coffee in the desk rental is such a game changer... I used to bounce between cafes in Lisbon and realized I was spending almost as much on pastries and lattes as my actual rent. A coworking place there had an unlimited filter coffee deal, and it made me wonder why I didn't switch sooner.

Did you read that article about how coffee culture is basically a hidden tax on remote workers? I swear I spend half my budget just buying drinks to justify sitting in a cafe for hours. It's wild that a coworking space can actually be cheaper than making your own coffee at home once you factor in the workspace part.
