My uncle's comment about my crooked fence hit different
He said "you're so worried about it being perfect you forgot to make it straight" while we were setting posts in my backyard here in Phoenix last weekend. Made me realize I spend too much time fussing over tiny details and miss the big picture on projects - anyone else catch themselves doing that?

Oh wow, I totally disagree - sweating the small stuff is what makes a project actually turn out right.

Totally agree, sweating the small stuff is where the magic happens. I once spent like an hour fixing the spacing on a flyer layout and it made the whole thing look ten times better once it was printed. People notice when you pay attention to the little details, even if they don't say it out loud.
