Hit 500 panel changes last month and finally stopped guessing load calculations
I keep a log of every job I do and last month I hit 500 panel swaps. That number surprised me because I never realized how many times I was just guestimating the load calc. After going back through my notes I saw I was overloading circuits way too often on the first few jobs. Now I run the numbers every time even if it's a small house. Has anyone else looked back at old jobs and seen patterns like that?

Funny how that works, isn't it? You look back and realize you were basically flipping a coin on half your decisions. It's like when I learned how to bake bread properly and saw how much I was just guessing on flour amounts before. People do that with money too, just eyeballing their bills without ever running the actual numbers. The human brain really loves shortcuts until they blow up in your face.

Oh man, I once accidentally set my oven to self-clean mode while trying to bake cookies and nearly started a fire.
