Shoutout to the guy who pointed out my panel bonding screw was loose last Tuesday

I had a flickering light in my garage for two years and thought it was a bad fixture, but that one loose screw was causing a ground loop the whole time. Has anyone else found a simple fix like that after putting it off forever?

Yeah that "flickering light in my garage for two years" part hits close to home. I had a bathroom fan that would hum for three years before I noticed the neutral wire was barely touching the terminal. Sometimes the dumbest little things cause the biggest headaches, and chasing ghosts in the wiring just makes you feel like an idiot when you finally find it.

Oh man, isnt that the worst? I spent a whole weekend ripping apart a light switch once because it kept buzzing, only to find out it was just a loose screw holding the wire in lol. Felt like such a dummy when I didnt even need to turn off the breaker for that fix.
