A customer told me my bench was a fire hazard
They pointed out my old, frayed power strip under a pile of scrap wire. I replaced it with a new, grounded one and keep the area clear now, anyone else have a close call like that?

Replacing that frayed power strip was the right move, I did the same thing last year.

Saw a video last week where a guy's whole workbench almost went up because of a cheap power strip overloaded with tools. Good on you for listening to the customer, some people just brush it off. That kind of clutter is so easy to ignore until it's a real problem. Makes me want to go check my own setup right now.
