PSA: My boss made me redo a whole menu because the fonts looked wrong under the bar lights
We were setting up the new craft beer list for a spot in Portland, and the printed draft looked fine in the office. Under the dim amber lights at the bar, the serif headings just bled into the body text and you couldn't read a thing. Who else has had a font pair totally fail because of the place it was actually used?

Projector glare makes fonts vanish too.

Nah, that's more about bad contrast. If your slide has light gray text on a white background, it's going to wash out no matter what. Projector glare just shows the problem. You need dark text on a light field, or the opposite. It's basic design, not the hardware's fault.
