Warning: Back when I started, a handshake was enough for a job. Now you need a contract for everything just to stay safe.

It feels like the trust is gone and everything has to be on paper. How do you handle all the extra paperwork without it slowing you down?

My kid's soccer league requires a waiver for every practice. It feels like we can't do anything without signing something first. I save all my signed papers on my phone to make it fast. This shows up everywhere, like when you rent a car or join a gym. Sometimes I ask if all this paper is keeping us safe or just keeping us apart.
