Pro tip: My main laptop died right before a big deadline in Chicago

I was at a coffee shop with no backup and had to finish the job on my old phone, which took 5 extra hours. Has anyone else had to finish a project on a phone or tablet?

Oh nice, @the_tessa. I was just reading that phone hotspots are way faster than they used to be. Makes borrowing a laptop actually workable now.

I always thought hotspots were basically useless for real work, like they'd drop every five minutes. But last month I had to use mine for a full eight hour workday when my internet died. It held up the whole time for video calls and everything, zero lag. Totally changed my view on what a phone can handle now.
