Shoutout to my brother for spotting a drip before it dried

He caught it just in time. Saved me a whole sanding session.

Ever have that happen where a second pair of eyes saves the day? My buddy was staining a deck and his girlfriend pointed out a missed spot before he sealed it. He said it saved him from having to strip and redo the whole section.

Missing a small spot can turn into a huge headache. My sister caught a paint drip before it dried, saving me from sanding and repainting the whole wall. In woodworking, a friend saw a crooked cut before glue set, so we fixed it in minutes. Without that, I'd have to start the piece over from scratch. Another look catches what you're too close to see after staring at it for hours. It's not second guessing, it's being smart about the job.

Honestly, I kind of go the other way. Having another person point things out can really mess up your flow. Sometimes you just need to trust your own work and get it done. More eyes mean more opinions, and then you start second guessing every little choice. I'd rather finish the job myself, even if that means a small fix later, than have someone watching over my shoulder the whole time. It ends up taking twice as long.
