inPSA: The salon in the new Riverwalk mall has their station mirrors set up all wrong
Totally agree, it's such a rookie mistake. Had a makeup artist work on me under lights like that once, and she had to keep turning my chair to check her blending in a compact mirror. The contour ended up looking crazy in normal daylight. You're right about the windows, that soft light is everything for seeing true tones. It's wild they dropped all that cash and didn't ask a single stylist how to set up the room.

inAppreciation post: My home server got hit with a weird port scan last night
Man, that really sucks. Seems like everyone's getting hit lately. Did they figure out what caused it?

inRealized my meal prep saves more than just cash during installs
Honestly that focus thing is key. Like when you're trying to trace a single wire in a bundle and your brain just gets foggy if you're hungry. Tbh I'm curious, what kind of meal are you packing that actually keeps you full through that kind of work? I tried just a sandwich once and was starving again by ten.

inJust realized I've been cutting all my drawer fronts wrong for the past six months because I was ignoring the grain direction on the plywood.
Grain direction is a killer on plywood projects. I started marking a big arrow on the back of every sheet before cutting. It saves me from making that same mistake again.

inPSA: I lost $75 to a fake invoice email that looked real
That $75 invoice scam is so convincing, it’s honestly scary.
