My callback rate on washer jobs went from 1 in 5 to almost zero after I started doing ONE extra thing
For about 8 months I was getting called back to re-fix maybe 1 out of every 5 washers I worked on, mostly front loaders with drain pump and door lock issues, and it was killing my rep with the two property management companies I do work for here in Boise. Back in March I started spraying down every door boot and drain filter housing with a little diluted bleach mix and running a rinse cycle before I button it up, and my callbacks dropped to basically nothing by June. Anyone else notice that the smell or gunk in the boot is what actually kills these things way more than the part that failed, or is it just me?

Thought that gunk was just cosmetic until it kept trashing my repairs too.
