The bottom layer was this weird mint green that must have been lead-based. Has anyone else had to strip something with that many old finishes?

Heard a friend found like ten layers on an old door once.

Oh man, ten layers? That's wild. We stripped a closet door in our last place and I swear we lost count after seven... it was this weird mint green, then like three shades of brown, then a gross yellow. It just kept going.

Ugh, that mint green layer sounds like a nightmare.
