Staring at my pile of used sheet masks made me rethink my habits.

In my experience, sheet masks really help my dry skin, but the single-use packaging creates a lot of trash. I had a wake-up call when I cleaned my bathroom and found a drawer full of used masks. Your mileage may vary, but I feel guilty knowing I contribute to plastic waste. Take this with a grain of salt, but I'm trying to cut back and find better options.

Ugh, my friend Amy had the same thing happen. She opened her vanity and it was just stuffed with dried-out sheet masks. That was her final push to buy a big jar of moisturizer instead.

Totally, it's wild how everything's single-use now. We get trained to buy these quick fixes without seeing the trash pile up. Sheet masks are just one piece of that throwaway culture we gotta notice.

My buddy's girlfriend had this whole drawer full of sheet masks that went bad. She kept buying them for "self care Sundays" but half the packets dried out before she even touched them. Found like twenty of them stuck together in a crusty lump. She said it felt like throwing cash straight in the trash. Now she just uses this one tub of face cream that lasts forever.
