inHad a 20 amp breaker trip on a brand new LED light install last Thursday
Ever check if the new panel's low voltage side could be arcing to the grounded grid frame? I've seen that heat up and cause a trip just like a shorted driver. It's a sneaky one to find.

inShowerthought: a retired machinist at the diner told me he used to run a 1979 Bridgeport with just a dial indicator and a steady hand, and it made me wonder if we rely on the machine's brain too much now...
Skill's still in the person, they just have better tools now.

inI used to think those mobile bike repair vans were a gimmick, but seeing the one in the Denver REI parking lot yesterday changed my mind.
What about the extra wear on your tires from that uneven weight? A sagging corner means one tire carries more load, so it'll heat up faster and wear out quicker on long drives. That's a hidden cost people forget when they bolt heavy tools to one spot. You might not notice until you're buying a new set of tires a year early.

inSerious question, I used to swear by the old school method of setting bearing preload by feel. After a customer brought back a creaky BB30 last month, I switched to using a torque wrench and the Park Tool TWB-2. Which side are you on?
But a good press fit is silent for years.

Totally get that, @caseyward. I used to love it.
