Got all pumped up finding a weird metal thing at a dig, turned out to be a pull tab from a soda can. Remember when those were everywhere? Now they're practically history.

Vent: My aunt's old letters hint at a family secret that historians can't figure out

Check the DATES and locations on those letters, historians sometimes miss the small personal stuff that explains everything. My grandma's diary made NO sense until we matched her entries to old church records.
