Finally figured out the new park's map after getting lost three times
Our town opened a new park last month with a big, colorful map at the entrance. I tried to find the pond from the main path, but the map's trails were drawn in the same green as the grass, with no labels. After walking in circles for 20 minutes on three separate visits, I realized the 'you are here' dot was placed over the only bridge shown. The lesson is that a pretty map is useless if you can't read it while standing there. Has anyone else found a public map that was more art than guide?
